Hans’ Porsche story began reading care-package car magazines while deployed in 2007. They helped maintain a sense of normalcy for him. He would imagine returning home and being able to get a taste of the freedom that comes with driving on the open road. Something he deeply missed while deployed. Porsche wasn’t something Hans thought was achievable for him at the time, but has he returned home and attended High Performance Driver’s Education days at tracks on the east coast he kept going to realize his dream of Porsche ownership. Hans took his love of customizing vehicles and the endless customization options that Porsche gives you and designed his first Porsche, a 992.1 GT3 Touring in Gulf Blue. Through this process of designing, driving and enjoying the GT3 Touring Hans realized there is no substitute. His second Porsche was a GT4 RS which became his main choice for the track. His most recent addition to his Porsche fleet is this 911 GT3 RS in Paint-to-Sample Nato Olive. Hans said “No other brand can describe the pinnacle of what I truly yearned for, all those years of deployments, where the simple freedom of driving has become so valuable in my eyes. In 1973 the 911 T was the entry point to the 911. The 911 T had a newer, larger 2.4-liter flat 6 and produced 130 horsepower. This car is Ivory over an original brown leather interior. In 1973 the standard chrome grilles were replaced with a black grille which adds some contrast to the pastel-like finish of Porsche Ivory. This car is still in original condition and wears its history of being driven boldly. The Porsche Crest, rear grille and Porsche Club grille badge show a purple hue from seeing the elements over the last 53 years. The current owner has been in possession of this vehicle since 2020 and has been a favorite in his collection of Porsche vehicles.
