Most people don’t move their spine … they move around it. Watch the top side again. The whole spine moves as one piece. Now look at the bottom. Each vertebra moves independently. The load is distributed. That’s what spinal segmentation looks like - and it’s the difference between a spine that performs and one that slowly breaks down. Why does this matter? When your spine can’t segment properly, two things happen. First, the segments that can move get overloaded - that’s where your disc issues, your chronic stiffness, and your “bad back” usually live.
