I’ve quickly discovered I’ll never really be an account that can pull off a “48 hour room flip.” More of a we’ve-labored-on-this-for-years-and-I-almost-forgot-to-share-it-because-I’ve-been-enjoying-living-in-it-so-much kind-of an account.
And as detrimental as this can be for a social media app that moves at lightning speed, I’ve also noticed it makes my spaces feel whole heartedly like me. (With plenty of time to shop what my neighbor’s are selling on marketplace!)
So here is a glimpse of the closet #lee built for me and the small Ellie Lu shrine I’ve added to it.
You get a lot of advice when you have kids, but by far the best advice I was ever given was: let them in.
Let them be messy. Let them not get it.
Let them be a part of it.
*Grandma’s infamous biscuit recipe not required. @piccalio foldable tower highly suggested.*
I’ve always considered one of my life’s biggest blessings that much of my childhood was spent aboard a sweet buckskin pony. My weekends were spent at county fairgrounds and mucking out stalls, and hanging arena side with friends.
But apparently I have a new blessing to count.
Because I’m not sure if there is anything sweeter than watching your own daughter become a horse girl with the very same pony.🤍
Tucked along the river in Big Fork, MT are thirteen cottages in Bigfork that blur regional lines in the best way. Tongue-and-groove siding, crisp white trim, and interiors that nod to coastal design without abandoning their mountain sensibility.
A true best of both worlds spot... with larger than life cinnamon rolls only mere steps away. Boogie on over to @thecottagesatbigfork to book your trip.
Typical me. Took my New Year’s resolution of “focus on what I value” a little too seriously and forgot to post. Whoops!
The world feels loud. Social media feels loud. And depending on the morning, even my breakfast table with a teething toddler feels loud.
So I’m keeping things simple this year. Focus. Value.
Here we go!
‘Tis the season to live inside a snow globe... or simply visit a charming historic Montana town. Either one works.
