I’ve sworn at A LOT of birds in my day but I was a bona fide sailor around these two pileated woodpeckers. We tracked their drumming for half an hour and when they finally showed themselves a group of 10 high school cross country runners took over the trail! My camera also decided today was the day it would start having new ISO problems. I’m still shocked I got any photos to share! #pileatedwoodpecker
