For Teacher Appreciation Week, we would like to honour Mr. I and Stan Hunc as they transition to the next chapters of their lives! 🎵"Mr. I", also known as Yurgen Ilaender, has been a source of inspiration at Place des Arts since 1981. His renowned Musical Rainbow programs introduced generations of children to a love of music. 👨‍🎨Stan Hunc has taught various visual arts classes to students of all ages for over 20 years. Throughout his time at Place des Arts, he's inspired numerous students to pursue their creativity and self-expression. Thank you both for your countless hours of inspiring creativity and passion in our community. 🎊 📸Image 1: Executive Director Joan McCauley, Mr. I (Yurgen Ilaender), and Board President Matthew Sebastiani 📸Image 2: Stan Huns and Board President Matthew Sebastiani

It was a full house at our last pARTy@PdA of the 2025/2026 season! Over 30 participants enjoyed a relaxing evening with Matin Komeili (@matin_artpaint ) and created beautiful mixed-media art on canvas. We really appreciate everyone coming in to share some laughter and express themselves through art. And thank you Amy J. for the wonderful feedback, we hope to see you and your sister at Place des Arts again soon. 🙌 The details on future pARTy@PdA will be available soon! Follow to receive first-hand updates about our upcoming events!
