THE END OF AN ERA ❤️‍🩹 With heavy hearts, we’ve decided to close our dear Public Display of Affection – or simply PDA, as many of you have come to know it – at the end of May. Host to many fun collaborations and events, inspiring exhibitions, brand photoshoots, special dinners, countless pop-ups, and temporary home to many of our freelance friends, this space truly held it all. We named it after its open, inviting shop window – but even more so as a reflection of the affection we carry for the creative people and ideas around us. PDA was always meant to be a space for creativity, connection, and expression, and we are super proud and grateful for all the moments we got to share with you inside our little red box. As we both feel pulled towards new creative endeavours, and after many, many discussions, we’ve come to the decision to let go of our beloved space – and open the door for someone new to write the next chapter at Karmelitergasse 7. If you’ve ever been at PDA and thought “this is exactly the kind of space I’ve been looking for” – or if this place simply speaks to you – we’d love to hear from you. If we don’t find someone to take it over, we’ll have to put the space on Willhaben – and from our own experience, we know there are many just waiting to turn it into another vending machine shop. We’d really love to see the space pass on to other creative minds who turn it into something inspiring again. Send us a DM if you’re interested ❤️ we can’t wait to hear from you! Pimpinella ( @pimpinella.cooking ) is a one-day culinary journey which combines the knowledge of foraging wild plants with the craft of traditional pasta making. This is part of our weekly series featuring people and their craft we have an affection for.

Frau Isa ( @frauisa ) is a mural artist and illustrator from Austria with a playful, expressive visual language. Her work feels like stepping into another world that has always been there. This is part of our weekly series featuring people and their craft we have an affection for.

Sebastian ( @fleksn ) is a cinematographer and hobby photographer with a rich background in the film world. He builds stories in motion and stillness, always thoughtful and considered. This is part of our weekly series featuring people and their craft we have an affection for.

😈🍿🍏🍇🥕🖼️🤳🧙‍♀️🎨🍽️👿👢 Packing up the exhibition from last weekend brought up all the sweet words and conversations with the most wonderful people in can imagine. Not only I see all the work and heart I put into everything but it is also a possibility for me to share my thoughts with you. It means a lot to me that you came and gives me confidence and motivation to keep doing what(ever) i do.
