I’m proud to stand with @pcunoregon and the communities they fight for every day. When President Trump threatened our communities, we fought back and won. I will never back down, because that is the kind of leader that Oregon families deserve.

I'm proud to have the endorsement of PCUN, Oregon's farmworker union. For decades, PCUN has stood up for the dignity and rights of Latinx working families across our state. Many of those families live and work in East Multnomah County, picking the food that ends up on our tables and caring for the land that sustains us all. I value their support and will continue fighting for regional investments that uphold worker dignity and keep immigrant families safe.

Sustained public and political pushback has slowed or complicated efforts to pass large increases to ICE funding. At the same time, those proposals haven’t gone away. We came together for the past six months in organized days of action. May 1st marked the beginning of us moving together, fighting every day, and remaining united. Moving forward, we fight by staying engaged, supporting each other, and of course, voting! Make sure you're registered to vote and get your ballots in by May 19th!
