During National Public Health Week, we’re reminded that public health goes far beyond hospitals and clinics it starts right here in our neighborhoods.
Recently, we partnered with our Environmental Division to document illegal dumping sites across our community. What may seem like trash left behind is much more than an eyesore it creates serious health hazards, attracts pests, contaminates our environment, and impacts the quality of life for the families who live nearby.
Protecting public health means taking pride in where we live, holding violators accountable, and working together to keep our community clean and safe.
