The @thefloridamangames returned for a third year of debauchery and shenanigans inspired by Sunshine State headlines, this year at Cleetus McFarland's Bradenton-area @freedom.factoryusa . Contests included an evading police obstacle course, "taser tag" with cattle prods and brawling over hurricane supplies. It is officially manatee season in Florida! I had a chance to swim with these gentle giants recently, something that's possible to do on a guided tour and only legal in Crystal River, the "Manatee Capital of the World."

Vans Warped Tour returned to Orlando as the final stop of three cities during this year's limited 30th anniversary tour. The second night of the festival featured @alltimelow , @iprevailband , @sensesfail , @lessthanjake and @smanifesto . I skipped A Day to Remember to go see Streetlight Manifesto, a controversial choice perhaps but one I'll stand by.

I am having a hard time comprehending how it's been almost a year since our Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail adventure. 4 days and 3 nights of backpacking took us through some pristine cypress domes and a fantastic slice of wild Florida. The 62-mile trek from Lake Okeechobee out to the coast was wet and wild, and we loved every minute of it. Looking forward to more hiking adventures with @karissa.ventures and great company this winter season! I would do it all again with @misterpeacock and @kale.y.soy .
