If you’ve been following us for a while, you know one of our favorite spots in The Heights is Trattoria Sofia on 11th Street. Last week we stopped by to try their Pre-Rodeo Prix Fixe menu and it is honestly such an amazing deal. For $39 you get a three course meal with an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. We went with friends and everything we ordered was so good, including the cocktails from their Outlaw menu. Our favorite was the Espresso Ranchtini.
Trattoria Sofia continues to impress us with both their food and service. It is always consistently good. If you are looking for a great place to grab dinner before the rodeo festivities, definitely check them out. The Outlaw Menu is available Tuesday through Friday from 4-6pm.

I kicked off the evening with @drinkhighwest Distillery x @thefinnhou for the Sha-Boozey Rodeo Ride with @mistermckinney and it was such a fun way to start a night at the Houston Rodeo. The open-air bus cruised through historic @downtownhouston before dropping us off right at the @rodeohouston
One of my favorite parts was the hands-on cocktail moment where an in-house mixologist from The Finn walked us through crafting a signature Rodeo Milk Punch featuring High West whiskey. Such a cool experience and the perfect way to get into the rodeo spirit.
Between the downtown views, great company, and a cocktail class on wheels… it was the ultimate pre-rodeo kickoff.
Big thanks to The Finn for hosting such an awesome event!

My girls and I had such a delicious dinner with western inspired drinks like Ranch Rita and Espresso Ranchtini! 10/10 recommend this charming Italian restaurant. It’s perfect to visit before the rodeo!
