Introducing our third and final judge…
✨ Verity ✨
Verity has been coaching since 2011, specialising in hand balancing and bodyweight skills. This strong foundation led her into aerial in 2019, where her coaching naturally evolved to support adult aerialists in building strength and tackling challenging skills in a safe and sustainable way.
She now runs an online aerial coaching business alongside in-person handstand workshops throughout the year. Her main disciplines include aerial hoop, straps, rope and handstands 💫
Alongside coaching, Verity is deeply passionate about the creative side of circus. She has performed aerial hoop, handstands, and dragon staff all over the UK with companies including Circus of Dreams, Circus Pazaz, and Popup Circus 🎪

We’re beyond excited to announce our next judge… Sophia! 💫
A professional dancer, acrobat, and aerialist, Sophia brings a wealth of experience, artistry, and passion to the panel. We can’t wait for her to share her expertise and provide incredible feedback to all our performers.
Sophia is a highly skilled circus performer specialising in handbalancing, aerial, hand-to-hand, and dance. She trained and competed in acrobatic gymnastics from a young age, representing Great Britain at the World Championships and the Olympic Games in 2018. She now brings that elite gymnastics background into powerful and dynamic circus performances around the world.
She has performed internationally in prestigious dinner shows in Marbella, Switzerland, Morocco and in May, she begins an exciting new chapter performing aboard Virgin Voyages cruise ships.
Her performance style blends strength, flexibility, and artistry, specialising in advanced techniques such as one-arm handstands, one-arm flags, and contortion movements like Mexican handstands. Her aerial repertoire includes hoop and loops, creating striking performances both in the air and on the ground.
She is also highly skilled in partner acrobatics, transferring her hand-balancing expertise into hand-to-hand acts—balancing on her partner’s hands and performing dynamic somersaults before being caught with precision and control.

Kris Maddan
With an outstanding level of talent, years of experience, and a true passion for what he does, he brings so much knowledge and expertise to the panel. His dedication to his craft and eye for excellence make him an absolute standout in the industry.
Kris started his career at just 13, training in full-time theatre education. After graduating from drama school with a Devising Theatre degree, he went on to build an extraordinary and diverse career as a professional breakdancer, pole teacher, stunt man and co-ordinator, acrobat, fire artist, juggler, magician, and all-round loudmouthed entertainer.
He has crossed genres across the creative industry — from performing on the streets of Covent Garden to the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. Kris has toured the world and performed at the very highest level, including with the world-famous Cirque Du Soleil!
We feel incredibly lucky to have someone of his calibre joining us — his insight, experience, and passion will no doubt inspire and elevate everyone involved. 🙌
