✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨ Leah is currently a senior at Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. She will be attending Duquesne University this fall to study pediatric occupational therapy. She began dancing at 6 years old at PBR and has been competing since the age of 9. She has been in love with dance ever since. Over the last decade, she has enjoyed learning all styles of dance. She wants to thank her teachers for believing in her and especially give a big thank you to Miss Pauline for all of her dance lessons and advice! She will miss her teammates dearly and is so thankful she has had the opportunity to make so many amazing memories that she will cherish forever. ✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨ Emma is currently a senior at Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School, and will be attending Penn State University in the fall. She has danced for many years starting at the age of 4. Emma is apart of the competition team and cherishes all the memories and best friends she has made along the way. Emma is incredibly thankful for her teachers at PBR for everything they have taught her and helping shape her into the person she is today. ✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨ Brenna began dancing when she was 3 years old. At the age of 7, she began dancing competitively for a dance studio in Roanoke, Va until the age of 13 when her family moved back to Hollidaysburg. After a brief hiatus from dance, she began dancing at PBR where she has enjoyed learning from many different teachers and role models, especially Miss Pauline. Brenna is currently a senior at Hollidaysburg Area High School and is a member of the National Art Honor Society. In the fall, she will be attending Randolph College in Virginia as a double major in Environmental Studies and English. She plans to continue dance classes there as well. ✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨ Isabella is currently a senior at Bishop Guilfoyle Academy. Outside of dance she is a cheerleader, volleyball player, and track and field member. She plans to continue cheerleading in college as well as obtain a BSN at Saint Francis University. Isabella started at PBR when she was 3 years old. She never had time to compete, but she has always felt a passion for dance. She wants to thank all her teachers who brought her this far, especially Miss Pauline! We are so excited for our dancers to share their talent on Saturday night at 6 PM at the Jaffa Shrine with all of their friends and families! Our dancers have worked incredibly hard all year long, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of them. Juliana Montrella had an incredible weekend at Revel Dance Convention in Toronto! She earned an Ultimate Revel medal adjudication and placed 13th overall in the senior solo division for her self-choreographed contemporary piece, “With You All the Time.” She also received a CLI Interest Invite and a CLI Conservatory Summer Intensive Scholarship. Juliana was named a Senior Elite Reveler Winner, Elite Reveler Runner-Up (earning a Summer Dance Fest Scholarship), and a Pro Reveler! As a Pro Reveler, she was selected through a separate audition and chosen as one of the top dancers from the Toronto event. She’ll have the opportunity to travel to five cities next season, assisting convention classes. We are beyond proud of you, Juliana! Our dancers absolutely LOVED the convention at Revel! The teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and taught such fun combos that inspired and challenged our dancers. She participated in a separate audition and was one of only three dancers chosen from the Baltimore event.
