1989 Before XGames. This contest was the first I know of on #ESPN to feature flatland BMX. If I’m wrong about that please send me a link of any earlier footage. Either way I rode this flatland journey soulfully for the art, the sport, and all my supporters and friends. I truly appreciate all of you who took the time to follow this journey and everyone who took part who made my dream a reality. Side note; when people ask me how long do I think I’ll continue to ride… we are gonna find out!! To answer specifically, I’m riding straight into the ground where I’ve always been…accompanied with this flatland. 🙏🏽
