Overjoyed to have finally finished ‘Bodies’, my largest painting yet at 50 x 76cm, oil on linen canvas. Feb 2025-June 2025. I was in flow and thoroughly enjoyed this piece until the last few weeks haha. This concept stemmed from a life changing experience I had at New Years, I wanted to express my rage toward the creator and being forced to experience all the horrible things that comes with living in a flesh suit. I wanted to depict an entity ripping itself to pieces to tap into this ancestral rage. Art is a major part about integration for me. Quick repost of my first ever oil painting Esoteric Tapestries, because I just realised I never made a proper dedicated post yet. I completed this piece back in November 2024. I have never used oil paints prior to this, but decided to start one during a horrible tonsillitis induced episode. This painting made me realise I need to dedicate my life to painting. I didn’t realise I had this insanely deep passion I have not tapped into yet. This is still probably one of my favourite paintings I’ve done. I used heaps of turpentine with oil paints to make multiple thin layers, creating the faded tapestry look. Heavily influenced by my experiences on Changa, a reinterpretation of the essence of Aztec inspired entities along the way. Repost of another biro sketch from summer of 2024. This is a very special piece to me.. I began this sketch at @sutifestival in Portugal in 2024 during a life-changing road trip with some friends. I developed this artwork on the dance floor as the magic of this non-stop week-long festival unfolded. I love the playful and creepiness of these entities, missioning through a dreamlike realm. I enjoy cramming details of faces into the available spaces, inspired by Changa and the ever changing transience of the psychedelic experience. Repost of one of my older biro sketches, made in 2024. I really love this piece, it reminds me of Changa entities, although I drew this before I began properly exploring those realms. Since childhood I’ve always had a calling to draw dark art featuring monsters and entities, way before tapping into psychedelics. It makes me question my life’s purpose, I feel like something unfathomable is always just beneath the surface and I feel the need to continuously express it. Marrying this inherent vision with plant medicine has been a kind of catapult, helping me understand myself more deeply, for which I’m deeply grateful. I wanted to reshare this biro piece I made in 2024 and share a little background. That summer I was working at a festival in Cornwall and hit a rock-bottom low. Feeling extremely lost, I went to my tent and got out my sketchbook, my first hand-made drawing in years. I sketched a miniature cityscape filled with monsters, a murder, and symbolic creatures. In that moment, I realised the therapeutic power of making physical art, away from the iPad screen. This piece started my biro art journey. Creating complex worlds became my escape, and I’d often spend 20+ hours on a sketch. I found peace here while travelling, with no access to digital outlets. This lead me to begin my oil painting journey in November 2024. I’m even considering framing and selling some of my original biro works, though they’re extremely sentimental. Happy to share some photos of my recently finished oil painting ‘The Creator’. Swipe to see close ups! 45x60cm, oil on canvas board, June 2025 – January 2026. This was my live painting I was working on at @ozorafestivalofficial in Hungary, 2025. Painting and exhibiting in the Mirador art gallery at Ozora was a total honour and dream come true to say the least, definitely a pinnacle moment in my art journey. Excited to exhibit there again this year, alongside other major European festivals, including Modem and Master of Puppets. This painting nearly broke me, there gets to a point making difficult art where you enter a hypnotism of total obsession, determination and simultaneous mental collapse, where nothing in life can really continue until it’s done. Sometimes I question how good it is for my psyche. It’s weird being so absorbed yet love with something. I had a deadline for this hence the stress. Got to love it though, it’s important to push ourselves to maximum potential! Excited to start my next painting soon, ‘The Destroyer’. This next one will be my largest painting yet, at 76x100cm. Finally happy to say I have finished my most recent oil painting, ‘The Creator’. 45x60cm, oil on canvas board, June 2025 – January 2026. This was my live painting at @ozorafestivalofficial in Hungary. What an honour and a pinnacle moment in my art journey to live paint there and meet so many amazing people, and what an intense and challenging journey this painting has taken me on. This painting taught me a lot about resilience and staying calm. It really pushed my boundaries of what challenges could be possible within making a painting. I was really stressed, but now really happy and relieved to have it finished. I look forward to starting my next piece, “The Destroyer,” soon, which will be my largest painting yet at 76x100cm.
