Lots of enquiries as to the success or otherwise of the Jamie Oliver xmas turkey experiment.
His wild imagining was to suggest that you get the butcher to chop the legs off, remove the wishbone then you come home and cook n prep the legs on xmas eve, get all dark meat off, prep and spice it then reheat on day
You stuff the crown, butter and season, continue as is.
As chief liason officer of xmas dinner i reluctantly agreed and my assistants - Ra and her mum got to work.
The results - sensational !
Heartily recommended.
A xmas paradigm shift.
Tender dark meat, all spicy and gorgeous and a succulent crown.
We’re working through it in this peaceful little window before New Year.
I’m writing this wearing dark blue elasticated cords that my wife bought for me from the freemans catalogue.
Wishing you greetings of the season and peace to all.
