Two independent businesses, one mission: sharing ideas 📚
Paul Smith joins @strandbookstore in NYC for a new week-long activation. The Strand will have its 100th birthday next year, and like us, has been independently run since its inception.
To discover the rest of Paul’s Literary Picks, along with exclusive totes, bookmarks and other goodies, visit The Strand on Broadway until 15th May.

Apparently the pink wall at my Melrose shop is getting a lot of attention at the moment, so I thought I’d share some of my photos in front of the big pink box.

Yesterday we took Cohort 2 of The Fashion Residency on a very insightful visit to Paul Smith HQ at Kean Street for a sneak peek behind the brand.
We began the morning in Paul’s office, exploring the various objects, photographs, artworks and items that line the sides of the walls.
Then making our way through the building we met with the print & the accessories design team, talking through archive pieces, how a product makes it from idea to shop & sifted through design swatch books from 60 & 70’s France as well as archived runway Paul Smith shows from the 90’s, just a few of the many ways the design teams get inspired when producing each collection.
Concluding the tour, we visited the shop fit & interiors team to look through the wonderful objects they’ve created over the years for Paul Smith shops and various collaborations.
Thank you so much to the team at Paul Smith HQ!
I’ve written a book!
It’s called Threads: My Life in Style. It could be the size of a doorstop because of all the wonderful things I have had the privilege of doing over the years, but we have had to be careful, so people don’t get back ache! It’s a really down-to-earth book. Hopefully people find it charming, honest and inspiring... it’s my story and it’s out on 10 September 2026
Who do you think will voice the audiobook?
Happy International Women’s Day. My wife, Pauline, remains my greatest inspiration. Her support has been constant and I owe so much of my success to her 🐇❤️
