Kaylee and Paul’s next adventure due June, 2026!
We took advantage of everyone being together for a “cliché” pregnancy reveal—it’s so rare to have all six of us Paulson’s in one place.
We can’t wait to meet our new little travel buddy.
💛 Do You Remember Yaya? 💛
Some patients change everything.
Some stories stay with you.
Yaya was found living on the streets of Conakry, Guinea, with a serious bone disease that had severely twisted his legs and made everyday movement painful. 👣
When he came on board, Australian physiotherapist Nick Veltjens and nurse Dan Goldman were among the first volunteers to support him. That first meeting marked the beginning of a long and meaningful friendship between Dan and Yaya — one that has lasted well beyond that day.
If you were on board when Yaya arrived — or if you remember his journey — we’d love to hear from you in the comments.💛💛❤️❤️🩹

Happy 4th wedding anniversary my beautiful Kaylee Jean!
Easily one of my favourite memories of our stealthy nuptials back in 2021 was clipping/stealing flowers all across the South Island of New Zealand!
You make me laugh like no one else can, the thought of you makes me smile from ear to ear and I love you more and more every day “Mrs Millgate” x

Back in 2023, Kaylee and I spent 5 (arduous) days trekking through Gunung Leuser National Park — the last place on Earth where Sumatran orangutans 🦧, tigers 🐅, elephants 🐘, and rhinos 🦏 coexist. 🌿
This curious young "man of the forest" made it all worth it: the sleeping on the ground, the leg cramps, the bug bites, the accidental elephant poo encounters, the elevation challenges, and the sketchy waterfall climbs. 🦧🌿 Every moment was a reminder of how incredible, and sometimes tough, nature can be.

Caught this sleepy sea lion soaking up the sun in the Galápagos back in 2016. Interestingly the animals there aren’t scared of humans, so you can get some amazing up-close moments if you’re lucky enough to visit. 🦭💤

Without a doubt one of the highlights of 2024 was finally seeing the magnificent Bengal Tiger in the wild.
Here's a little bit of positivity to round out the year - Thanks to decades of conservation and hard work, Bengal Tiger numbers are steadily on the rise in India.
All the best for an awe-inspiring 2025!

It blows my mind that hummingbirds will migrate from Minnesota to Central and South America.
If you haven't seen a hummingbird in flight you might not quite appreciate just how much patience it took to get this pic...luckily this guy hovered for just long enough to snap this pic!

There's something bone chilling being in the presence of a pride of lions...but even soaked in blood they have a majesty about them.
Lions actually get somewhere between 50-100% of their fluid intake from their prey...hydration is king!
