⚡️⚡️⚡️Almost ten years ago, Britt Turner invited us to the Blackberry Smoke Brothers and Sisters Family Reunion at the Shed in Tennessee. Earlier in the day, we followed Britt, Richard, and their friends filming on the Tail of the Dragon 🐉 — 318 curves, motorcycles, mountain roads, and pure Southern chaos.
That night felt different than any concert I’d ever been to. It didn’t feel like fans showing up to see a band… it felt like family getting together. People traveled from all over the country for it, and you could feel how much the music and community meant to everyone there. This weekend the celebration continues at the Shed.
Britt was one of the coolest and nicest people we ever got the chance to work with, and moments like this are something we’ll always appreciate. Hard to believe he’s gone now. I could spend hours telling stories of how she has always been there for us and put up with our crazy shenanigans through the years. I’ve been meaning to post about the awesome flight home from Buenos Aires, Argentina. My good friend and Newnan-ite @mjkennington who works for the fantastic folks at @delta got @blackberrysmoke home back to the States with ease. I was able to go up to the flight deck and fiddle around with stuff(JK🤣) My bandmates had all the faith in the world that I would have done a great job helping out!🤣🤷🏼♂️ Thanks again to the cast and crew at Delta you guys Rock!!
