Here's some prosthetic work I did as part of the team at Animated Extras (headed by Nik Williams), to create Paul's old age scenes as Antonio Salieri. Pictured here is part of a multi piece facial appliance to alter around the jawline, cheeks, and chin. I created a 5-part jacket silicone mould and ran as an encapsulated silicone prosthetic.

Here's a body I worked on for the TV show #Outlander (seen on Season 7 Episode 10 last month) for @animatedextras , lead by Pauline Fowler. This is for a surgery scene where a metal musket ball is extracted from the intestines.
I took a lifecast of @harryjarvisofficial (who plays Henry Grey), of just the torso, thighs, and arms. As we never get to see the face in the FX shot, we opted not to do a full head cast and just attached a generic head of similar proportions. Jim Sparrow did the sculpt in plastiline, before I took over and moulded the entire body in a 2-piece fibreglass mould. I then created an armature structure, complete with a deep cavity core that will store the organs. I then ran the mould, casting in a softened Plat Gel silicone. Body was painted by Sam Ives. Lovely job.

Moulding a calf for the TV show #AllCreaturesGreatandSmall at @animatedextras which I believe was for a birth scene. I created the mould in fibreglass resin with a seamless muzzle. I installed an armature inside before casting in foam with silicone skin on the feet, muzzle, and around the eyes. Ears were moulded separately.

Here's a puncture wound prosthetic arm sleeve I moulded and cast in silicone for the TV show #Outlander at @animatedextras .
We had actor Charles Vandervaart, who plays William Ransom, come into the workshop where I made a lifecast of his arm. After sculpted on a reduced core, I moulded this in silicone with a fibreglass jacket. The end effect is to show a deep wound after being impaled by a stick. I also created a dummy arm for another shot which I'll show another day.

Resin eyes I made and painted for the baby dragons on the Apple TV show #LovelyLittleFarm for @animatedextras . Both dragons were different colours, so each had their own set of eyes to compliment their skin palette. These were painted using Createx Wicked Colors.

The head was moulded in silicone with fibreglass jacket. The rest of the body in fibreglass. After the mould was complete, the cores are made and then I ran them in silicone. Animatronic heads were made, while the body, legs were puppeteered by hand.

It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to work on Netflix's latest show Bodies at @animatedextras . The great team we had, headed by Pauline Fowler, we created all the silicone bodies you see throughout the series. Also got to create the brain FX scene and learning how this would be approached in a different time period. Fantastic work by all. Only started watching it, but it does look good.
