We start out with Toivo, an amazing guitar player who collaborates with many great artists around the twin cities. He will dazzle us with a set of solo guitar sounds. Shane Cox & the Funky Spuds bring a fresh groove
to the Twin Cities scene in their mission to elevate the sousaphone and brass-driven music.
The Real Chuck NORAD finishes out the evening blending experimental funk and brass-fueled psychedelia into a soundtrack for a dystopian future we deserve!

So deeply grateful to share that we raised $2000 ($1959 + merch sales to round it up!) for Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association Renter Support Fund & MIRAC ~ MN Immigrant Rights Action Committee ~ just sent off the donations on behalf of our wonderful guests and artists and The Pattern Room.
Thank you for your generosity and support for our community as we pick up the pieces for this winter’s terrors, tend to our collective PTSD, and keep fighting for our community’s safety, beautiful diversity, and basic human rights rights to BE, WORK, CREATE, CONNECT, THRIVE, LIVE, and LOVE.
Very special thank you to The Pattern Room for hosting,
The Gated Community, Jeremy Ylvisaker, Shannon Frid-Rubin, Ephraim Cruz Eusebio, John Saint Pelvyn (feel better soon!), Chris, Keith, Skye, and you beautiful listeners both present and donating from afar.
Please check out The Gated Community’s new EP (downloads go to support mutual aid) & Mary Bue merch (cds vinyl t’s etc) also donating 20% throughout the rest of April.
We love you and thank you. Stay safe and keep making your art, music, poems … keep connecting to your neighbors … keep supporting immigrant owned businesses … continue mutual aid efforts … continue using your voices to protect and uplift … we need you and there is so much more work to do.
Biggest love and gratitude,
M & all

Beautiful friends ~
Please save the date ~ April 18th ~ for this magical event in Minneapolis ~ raising funds to help our neighbors.
It has been many months since playing a show for me ~ grace-ing in with a few besties ~ Dear Shannon Frid-Rubin & Jeremy Ylvisaker ~ stripped down with piano, guitar, and violin 🎻
The Gated Community are celebrating the release of their new single “Hope to Hell,” proceeds from which are going to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC). The song was recently featured by Americana UK.
Jeremy Ylvisaker is, as always, an embodiment of pure, swirling musical energy
John Saint Pelvyn = Muy excellente, “musical enigma”
There will be “parallel play” ~ art supplies galore to create while you hang and listen 🎨
Beyond excited to bask & share in all of this creative energy.
Thank you Ephraim & The Pattern Room for hosting!
Private-ish event ~ tix by donation ~ Linky coming soon. Donations to support Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association Renter’s Relief Fund (city-wide) + MIRAC 🧡
Muchos besos y mariposas!
