Last weekend we hosted sound at ECHO Unified.
Part of the annual GLUE Utrecht design route, the exhibition brought together a group of designers invited by Maaike Rabbinge to work with materials from an aluminium factory. Each designer created work in their own way resulting in a raw and diverse collection of objects.
And as any exhibition deserves: good sound to carry the atmosphere through the space.
We were invited to host the sound for the evening and turned the space into something between an exhibition and a gathering.

We had the opportunity to host sound at Lukášek’s Kingsday house party. Reflecting on how far we've come since building our first speakers for our introductory party last Kingsday. Using them again was a moment of gratitude.

Pattern soundsystems was founded by Valentijn De Vriese. Driven by the desire to create a night filled with exceptional sound, he began crafting soundsystems that bring the music to life. This week we hosted a birthday bash. It was great to share the music and to see all the loving people around him.
Our 30inch drivers move a lot of air and even surpass the 16hz we’ve been dreaming off. It’s such a pleasure to listen to.
We would love to let the world hear our sound, organizers let’s team up!
The team has been working on the final touch ups for the subwoofers. All we need to do after this is build the kicks to get the full spectrum of sound.
Exciting times here at the workshop. Having started with calculations, then moving into the design phase, and now giving it the final touches of love by hand is truly special. The journey of sound is a beautiful thing.
