The last half of the year has been a whirlwind! I’ve had the chance to meet many talented designers and collaborate on some truly inspiring work. Photographing a finished project is no small feat. Designers handle so much of the coordinating, organizing, last-minute running around, moving furniture, cleaning, and styling. But the effort never goes unnoticed. I’m so grateful to work with designers who show up fully and want to celebrate what they’ve created.
@softer.drink was one of those projects. On my first call with Claire, she walked me through her design from start to finish. Her passion for craft and her commitment to working with local artisans shaped a space that feels like an envelope of creativity. Photographing it was such a highlight.
AND to top it all off, Softer Drink won this year’s @designyyj IDEA award for mixed-use interiors!

Softer Drink Shop is now open in Victoria at 760 Broughton St.
It was an absolute pleasure working on this space with Andrea and Jonathan of @softer.drink . Creating this lush canvas to showcase all of the beautiful teas and drinks that Softer Drink works with was my pleasure. The clients are champions of local artisans and were enthusiastic about including design pieces in the space custom made by @pattern.builders@calenknauf@trlwelding@strongriverstudios@saksun.studio and last but NOT least branding and original artwork by Sara Graorac.
