I genuinely never thought running would bring as much joy back into my life as it has, but here we are. I’m so grateful for everyone I’ve met along the way. You all truly mean the world to me.
After taking some time to reflect, while it didn’t end the way I hoped it would, I’m proud of the effort. Falling short of the goal only makes the desire to achieve it that much stronger.
Lastly, thank you so much @samir_sanchez . You saw me struggling my ass off near the tail end and pushed me to give it my all even though I was mentally and physically deteriorating.
This is just the beginning.
First (and second) HYROX in the books. 1:17:11. 1:09:12
Going back to back days sure was challenging, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
I’ve definitely flipped a switch regarding my fitness to start 2026 and I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made.
Can’t thank everyone at @ftl_averagejoesrunclub and @projectsculptftl enough for the support throughout it all.
This shit is fun.
