Something I have found is that, when I have a goal.... what is the phrase.... “my eyes are larger than my stomach.” It is always harder, and takes more effort than I initially thought.
Have you ever experienced this? We think it will take a couple hours to do something, and then as we get through things, it has over 10Xed in the amount of time or effort we had originally thought.
This is an important concept to help achieve goals. When you create a goal, going into with an understanding that our perception of what it may take to succeed will most likely be less than what is actually needed, so preparing for that initially will increase our chances of success.
