So wonderful to have the group together this evening for our very first studio meeting at Patrick Street Studios! We missed the artists who couldn’t make it, but the energy in the room was a fantastic start as we begin this journey together. Looking forward to seeing the great work that will emerge from this space.

We’ve been busy since our first Open Call, but it’s especially exciting to finally see the Patrick Street Studios sign officially installed. We are so happy to be part of the community of Dun Laoghaire and to mark our presence.

PATRICK STREET STUDIOS was set up in response to a clear need: affordable, dedicated workspaces for professional visual artists in Dun Laoghaire. By transforming a local building into studios, the aim is to provide not just space but a supportive environment where artists can develop their practice, connect and contribute to the wider cultural life of the area.
Studios are available from March 2026
There are 9 studios in total.
The deadline for applications is 12 pm Wednesday 28th January 2026
Only shortlisted artists will be invited to visit the studios.
