Last Friday, I had the absolute joy of photographing Roxana and Gilbertâs wedding at White House Banquet and Event Center in Anaheimâjust down the street from where I lived for 20 years! I love shooting at this adorable venue, and this wedding was nothing short of amazing.
Roxana looked STUNNING in her convertible wedding dressâshe started with a full skirt for the ceremony and then transformed into a body-hugging lace mermaid dress for the reception. đ„ And Gilbert? He was looking sharp in a classic black tux and bow tieâso dapper!
Letâs talk about the foodâbecause OMG, who doesnât love Mexican food? The dinner was amazing, and later, a taco guy came through with even more deliciousness. And donât even get me started on hair and makeupâRoxana was flawless!
The party was LIT thanks to my favorite DJ Braulio from Excellence and his brother, who had the dance floor packed all night. And as if that wasnât enough, they also had a Banda bringing all the vibes! đ¶đ

The rain was much needed and it is nice to hear that the soil is rich in water again, the reservoirs are filled, and the mountain peaks are packed with snow, however, nothing will ever beat the blue sky on a warm sunny day at the golden coast. I am so ready for summer!

Without darkness we would not see the power of light.
Equally, without failure we would not have the chance to overcome. In fact, there is no greater feeling than to overcome. It is the coexistence of both loss and victory that makes life such a sweet journey. Imagine you would always win, no matter what. Do you think you would still feel interested in the game? Most likely not. You would enjoy it for a moment and then lose interest and fall into indifference.
The presence of loss makes us appreciate all victories, and the journey between creates the stories that shape our life. With this knowledge embrace the moment, and trust the process. Only darkness will allow you to step into the light.

On our journey through life it is so easy to feel lost and lose track of where to go. Goals seemed within a grasp at first but then turned out to be as distant as ever.
This is the moment when you have to remember that progress and growth are the goal. Life does not have a direction. It doesnât matter where you go as long as you continue to take the next step.
Carry on and stop looking for signs, you are already on the right track.
