Wrapped our very first shoot together — what a start.
Three short films uniting POP Trading Company — the Amsterdam skate brand — and Fullcount & Co., the Japanese denim label from Osaka.
By painting Osaka’s streets on perspex and placing them in front of the camera, against the backdrop of Amsterdam, we created a continuous visual landscape that melts the two cities together — inspired by the old-school matte paintingtechnique.
Shot entirely on Kodak 16mm, every frame breathes texture, light and atmosphere — connecting handcrafted art, analogue film and modern skate culture.
