Absolute blast playing a formidable serial killer presence in the dream world opposite the amazing Naomi Watts.🧠✨ The soon to be Academy Award winner certainly knew how to pack a mental punch in this scene! I was her first King Kong! I passed out a lot holding my breath to bulge my pulsing cranial veins to demonstrate neural overload from Watts accusations! Lol, the crew just stepped over my body on the concrete floor, thinking ‘Actors, just Patrick’s process.’
Creator David S. Goyer (Blade Trilogy) and team pushed the boundaries of sci-fi and psychological horror on Network TV. Another chance to work with director Bill Malone after Parasomnia. Bill was so passionate, he put up his own funds to trick out the episode. And it shows! Who else remembers this series which was copied concept and dialogue for the later JLO, Vincent D’Onofrio film The Cell?

Throwing it back to Parasomnia! Playing Byron Volpe was a dark, surreal delight. There’s something uniquely chilling and romantic within the world William Malone (House on Haunted Hill, Fear.com) created in his passion project. Volpe was smart, verbal, ruthless, diabolical as written - none of my usual improv necessary. Who remembers this one? If you haven’t seen it, have fun & check out Cherilyn Wilson & Janet Tracy Keijser, two bold & beautiful actresses. There’s also a duo of spectacular cello playing sisters & the extraordinary practical effects of my vet bro Tony Grow. Malone is inspired by the masterful art of Zdzislaw Beksiński & you’ll find here the essence of a studio director artfully winging it in the independent world.
