Meet celebrated auctioneer, Patrick Tully! Patrick will be back with us again bringing his incredible energy and talent to our outstanding live auction filled with International travel, fine dining experiences and all sorts of surprises. You won’t want to miss this!
📌Mr. Tully’s vast clientele includes St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The American Cancer Society, and The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Beyond his live auction experience, Mr. Tully is the Co-founder of The Kate Shea Foundation for Leukemia research and previously served as Vice President of Development for The Ireland Funds. Given his deep background in the non-profit sector, Mr. Tully understands the unique challenges his clients face when planning and hosting a benefit event. From recommending starting bids, understanding which donated items are in demand, to packaging items in a way to increase donations and reach target goals, Mr. Tully brings a unique skill set that goes beyond grabbing a mic and pleading for donations. As Bill Dessoffy, National Board Chair of the National Kidney Foundation put it,
“He makes it look like he’s part of the organization, like he’s part of the team, which is so key.”
Mr. Tully’s auction talents have been seen on TV, recently guest starring in Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote vs The Swans where he played, you guessed it, The Auctioneer, selling Truman Capote’s ashes for $45,000. On National Geographic’s Brain Games he sold a $20 bill for $40...true story and he appeared on Pawn Stars representing a seller of rare sports memorabilia. He has also guest Co-Hosted The Morning Blend and he created an auction game show titled Paddle Battle.
Mr. Tully holds a B.A. degree in Communications from Marist College as well as a Certificate in Radio and Television Broadcasting from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. In addition, he holds a Benefit Auction Specialist designation from the National Auctioneers Association and is a member of The Association of Fundraising Professionals.

I just spent a few impactful weeks on campus with some of the most talented minds in the nonprofit world as my cohort (AKA The Nonprofiteers) collectively inched closer to a Masters of Nonprofit Administration degree from @notredamebusiness - We’ve been taking classes online together, but this was the real thing. Everything I learn is helping me understand the challenges my nonprofit clients go through in the daily pursuit of their important missions and that knowledge helps me work strategically with them to help reach and exceed their fundraising goals. The motivation to finish this degree is palatable and inspires me daily. Self Help Africa’s Boston Change-Maker’s Ball returned last weekend for the first time in six years — and what a return it was. Together with a powerful community of over 300 supporters, we raised more than $400,000 to support life-changing projects across Africa.
