The Patrick Henry Bike Bus, in partnership with the City’s ALX Bike Bus initiative and PTA, organized a ride on Friday, May 8, in celebration of Bike (or Scoot or Walk) to School Week, and it was a fantastic turnout!
Thank you to all of the students, families, staff, and community members who participated and helped make the event such a success. It was wonderful to see so much school spirit, excitement, and healthy fun as everyone rode, scooted, and walked to school together! 🚴🚴‍♀️

Dr. Moore’s Career Tech Ed students had the opportunity to participate in No Tech Tuesday and Unplugged Friday while other grades levels were SOL testing. The students created Mother’s Day/Special Person Day flat cards or junk journal pages. This created an opportunity for student expression while creating a gift to take home to share. We would like to thank our donors for the supplies and especially Foxchase florist for the flowers that enhanced our project. #Unplugged #CreativeExpression
At last nights school board meeting the school level Teacher of the Year was celebrated. Here is our very own Miss.Purvis who is Teacher of the Year at Patrick Henry K-8 School. Congratulations! 🏆
