FOUR YEARS BOOZE FREE! Four years since I decided “Life is for living, and I don’t want to waste it anymore”. I believe sobriety is my greatest achievement 💜🤙 Here are four superpowers I have gained: 🤝 Connection: I feel so at ease and in touch with others too. I have more self-confidence, I feel like I have “mana” because I don’t drink. ☀️ Optimism. No more anxiety. I work through dark thoughts and leave them behind. I feel so positive instead. 🤙 Purpose. My ambition is back. I want to “do stuff”. I feel like I am on a mission. Booze isn’t interrupting it any more. 💪 Change. Physical. I sleep better, I am fitter and stronger. I want to live a better life. Mental. I have changed, that gives me power and control. I have never wanted to preach about getting sober. Booze is fine for some people, just not me. Addiction is a complex mental health condition. I would like to send my love to anyone dealing with addiction out there. My official four year anniversary was on December 18. Life is so beautiful being sober that I forgot lol. We all have the power inside us to change. If I can do it, you can too. 💜 THE FUTURE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. 💜💜💜💜💜 #sobriety #soberliving #alcoholfree #mentalhealth

It is never too late to try something new. I have “No Issues” with the Whaka 50km. 💜🤙 Big thanks to the New Zealand mountain biking community, everybody has been so welcoming over the past couple of years! Thank you for letting me be part of this incredible sport. I love riding my bike. It keeps me connected with the land, with nature, with myself. It is so good for mental health. The Whakarewarewa forest is an absolute taonga and I love coming to Rotorua. The @whaka100_official 50km was hard but so bloody worth it! If you are wondering about my bike, it is a @specialized_nz . (Watch this space…! 👀👀) And a big thank you to the team at @iridewgtn who really look out for me, I need it! 💜💜💜🤙🤙🤙

S for Suafoa from Southland! Supporting @cjsuafoa_ 🫶 📍 Invercargill with @brookmacdonald6 and @sarahcowleyross 💜 📍 Gore Main School 💜 📍 Lumsden School 💜 Wishing you well brother! And hoping people learn more about Sarcoma - @sarcomafoundationnz . I was thinking of you Cam and @britt_hk while I was grinding out 253km Queenstown to Invercargill. All to raise money for the @westpacnz Chopper Ride but a chance to also raise awareness for Sarcoma.

253 kilometre ride from Queenstown to Invercargill. 🚲 All worth it to meet these kids at Lumsden school who did their school project on me! 😂🫶 And of course the $130,000 (and rising) raised to keep the Rescue Chopper flying. 🚁 This will save so many lives in Otago and Southland. 🙏 One example that I always reflect on when we visit the schools along the way: the Chopper will save so many wee premature babies that are born and need to get to Dunedin Hospital. Once there, they can be saved… And at school having happy lives before the parents know it! 💜 This is the third time I have done the Chopper Ride. 👀 I do it because I love the power of community, I love it when a community steps up to solve its problems. I really want to help stuff lime this and I give as much of my time to charities as I can. 🤙 I also do the ride because I love the people of Otago and Southland. You really do live in Paradise! 💟 The @WestpacNZ Chopper Appeal is now on through to June, please help keep our Choppers flying! I just want to end with an extra special thank you to the schools at Lumsden, Gore Main and Mataura… You really made my day! 🤙

Question: What’s your dream?” ➡️ MAKE IT COME TRUE! Global icon @simonsquibb tasted Kiwi chef Nav’s food, then spent $50,000 to buy her a café! Nav’s dream was to@own her own place. So I went to see Nav, a few weeks into owning @pinkb_roccoli cafe. Thanks to Simon she told she had been able to make a “generation shift”. 💜 Positivity is out there!
