Finished result of a master copy painting I did of Théodore Gericault's The Raft of The Medusa. The original is some 16'x25', mine is only a fraction of the size at 2'x3'. Doing these master copies are really good for me, because there is not a commitment to make something uniquely original, but i still get to learn so much and still practice my painting skills

This look head to toe was made by my love @pat_slumberjack@patrickgeraciart . We wanted to fit the theme of leather and lace but keep it grand, regal, and avant garde. I truly have never felt so fking cool.

Made this very simple but elegant black velvet dress this week. I say simple but the structure that supports the shape is deceptively anything but. Its not shiny or adorned, but I love understated art, because it has its own intrinsic beauty.
