Un site … même pas toujours à jour, ça comprend pas mal d’infos sur une pratique. Bref, le site a été légèrement actualisé… toujours possible d’y faire de petites trouvailles. Les œuvres que l’on y retrouve ne représentent finalement que la pointe de l’iceberg d’une démarche artistique fondée sur les essais et les erreurs, sur de multiples tentatives échouées et de nombreuses collaborations. N’en subsiste que la résultante : une toute fine parcelle issue d’une masse pourtant considérable de travail et de réflexion… invisible au plus grand nombre.

Ces scènes hivernales, servant aux quelques premiers chapitres du film « LOST IN TIME », étaient ponctuées de séances photos (de plateau) organisées avec Brigitte Henry (co-directrice photo sur le tournage), à l’aide de son appareil Pentax 67 (film photo au format de 6x7cm). Ces séances brèves et spontanées, visaient à prendre en portrait le cavalier sur sa monture, les seuls protagonistes de ce film atmosphérique.

à propos de la montre BW
#« The BW thus employs an apparently ordinary and
recognizable perceptible element to lead one into a temporal
labyrinth in which the inscrutable face of time emerges in a variety
of surprising guises. Time itself—considered not as a material property but rather as a structuring dimension and a condition of emergence—being faceless, like the the watch, only becomes visible through the effects it imprints on its spatial masks (stasis/movement, growth/decay, order/chaos). The BW’s combination of an ordinary and present object and an extraordinary and abstract time-span thus cleaves a deep rift between perception and cognition that may induce a state of temporal vertigo. «
« La BW utilise donc un élément perceptible, apparemment ordinaire et reconnaissable, pour nous conduire dans un labyrinthe temporel où le cadran inscrutable du temps prend de nombreuses et étonnantes formes. Comme le temps lui-même, qui n’est pas une propriété matérielle mais plutôt une dimension structurante et une condition d’émergence, la montre, du fait qu’elle n’a pas de cadran, ne devient visible que par les effets qu’elle produit sur ses manifestations spatiales (stase/mouvement, croissance/pourriture, ordre/chaos). En combinant un objet ordinaire et présent avec un espace temporel extraordinaire et abstrait, la BW creuse une crevasse profonde entre perception et cognition, faille qui peut induire un état de vertige temporel. »
