I discovered an amazing artist in Massachusetts Olivia Faulkner @livi_gigi_art . Loved her work so commissioned a custom piece (not this piece). After I had it and loved it a couple months later talked to her more. Wanted another. We talked about our lives. The things we’ve been through. The near death brain injury I have and about the “recovery” that will last the rest of my life. Funny I guess, she works in rehab nursing so understood the way many do not. Commissioned same size. 24x36. They accidentally sent her 2 canvases so she combined them. She used techniques she hadn’t before and created this. “Forthrightly Overcoming”.
