Two weeks two very different places. So thankful to be able to play with incredible people at these incredible places with @losrva ! @burningmaam was such an incredible time and I’m so glad to have been able to see how beautiful a place Woodward PA is. Also shoutout @maam_stagram for the amazing organization and killer show!!

Sorry for not great quality but wanted to share these. Visiting my grandparents and it’s been so nice to learn about some of my music ancestors. My Popop Weston(my name sake) is the clarinet next to the snare, his father My great great grandpa Harry was the bandleader of the Dover Delaware community band. It is such an honor and blessing to be able to continue my musical heritage and I know their spirits live on through me and push me to be the best musician I can be. Second pic is just fun, apparently my great great great grandfather met Teddy Roosevelt
In one years time my life has taken a total transformation. A year ago all I wanted was to get mentally healthy so I could return to school and be the student I always could. Well here I am in 2023 and I’m doing it. I can honestly say 2022 might have been my most important year yet and I’m so happy to have made so many new connections and to be able to follow my dreams everyday. Looking forward to this new year and I’m thankful to be going into it with such great friends, family, and colleagues. I hope the universe blesses everyone this year with growth, transformation, and health. Happy new year everyone!
So glad that I got to come back to school and play in a section with these fantastic musicians and people. Our last symphony concert of the semester was epic!
I am in love with my Aunt’s apartment. Wish I could live here such a wonderful practice space. Hope you all are having a good thanksgiving break! Never break from practice though;)
