My poem is now everywhere on the TTC. Public art will always be a vital cultural lifeline in our city.
I grew up writing while riding on public transit (still do), so this is a huge honour. Was I on the older subway, changing cars every stop until I found mine? You will never know. Send me a photo if you catch it.
Thanks again to @poemsinpassage - Next time you’re commuting to work, look up.
It’s been almost 5 years since we lost my little brother, and since I started working on this documentary film dedicated to him. My first feature doc is finally finished.
Today is his birthday. He would’ve have been 31. I’ve never worked on something for this long in my life. This one is for Jordan, everyone who misses him, and his son Julian.
Still figuring out what to do next with it, but I’m proud of what it is, and the journey our team took to get here. If you have any distribution advice, please let me know.
Miss you today bro, and every day. Your story will be as loud as you always wanted it to be. I made sure of it.
“Last Note” the film that should have never been made, coming soon.

The “Uncertain Ground” exhibit at the @gardinermuseum is a bold, maximalist and poetically moving ride.
“Raised in Canada and Thailand, artist @lindasormin
has emerged as a leading voice in sculpture with her
fearless, monumental structures. Her first solo museum
exhibition takes visitors on an immersive journey where
tigers, dragons, and sacred texts serve as portals into
ancient knowledge.”
Honoured to perform poems inspired by her art, and share the stage with her at the Uncertain Ground: Poetry Night in the museum, on March 19th. I’ll also be offering personalized poetry throughout the evening, as part of your admission.
Swipe for poster and purchase tickets (which includes access to the exhibit) on the Gardiner Museum website.
Less than 24 hours off a flight from the Philippines, jet-lagged but still grounded.
Honoured to deliver the keynote and co-lead a workshop for 250+ educators at the 2026 Educators Anti-Racism Conference with @harmonymovement
In a time when conversations about equity and belonging matter more than ever, I’m grateful to lend my voice and to collaborate with friends and fellow organizers to help bring this necessary space to life.

On this day 5 years ago, my little brother’s final message to me, was to remind me of how good of an older brother I was, and that I deserved a great life.
This used to anger me, as I’ve had the worst years of my life after he died. Being his older brother is one of the greatest gifts I have ever been given, and I’ve spent the last 5 years working on not feeling like I failed him that night.
This year, I sit with my family and his beautiful son, by the sunset on my favourite beach in the world, and it feels like the best this life can offer. It will never be better than it would be with him here, but I’m learning to accept his final words.
People don’t say his name as often as they used to, but I’m doing everything I can to make sure Jordan will never be forgotten. I look forward to sharing more of his story soon.
For now, it’s his 5th year death anniversary, and we’re still here. I’m making the best of it, like he said I deserved.
