Spent the afternoon at @marfaspiritco with friends. The man himself @morgan_f_weber was behind the sticks, pouring tastings of all his recent projects. Wyatt had fun playing tag with some other restaurant babies. And taking awkward pictures of @purslane_erin .
3 different hikes, over 6 miles, plenty of scrambling on all fours, enough wildlife to keep him happy, “a trip to Mexico”, and a bunch of cool looking rocks from the Rio Grande. Wyatt was a trooper yesterday and proved we can definitely go bigger next time we’re in Big Bend.

Nothing better than gathering around a tray and catching up.
As for the food — we were impressed. The brisket was solid. Not the best we’ve ever had, but definitely good. The chili jack sausage brought great flavor, and the ribs were very well done.
But you already know… sides are where places separate themselves 👀
The brussels sprouts were SPECIAL, and pairing them with that hogfat cornbread made for an unreal one-two punch 🤯🔥
Great food, better company. We’ll be back.
