If "Service is the rent we pay for living on the earth," then the Leadership Lab of @pathways_2progress (P2P) paid their rent and that of some of their peers this evening.
P2P youth partnered with the FC OFFICE ON Aging to host a holiday party for senior citizens this evening. The seniors were treated to a catered dinner (yummy), games with prizes, music, conversation with attentive & caring teens, a gift basket, and blankets made by the students.
My students planned and executed one heck of a holiday service project. I am so proud of my kiddos.

The CUL WRTU TEAM facilitated several sessions and engaged with over 100 youth Saturday! This past Saturday youth from the Work Readiness Training University Year-Round Program participated in a day full of training, learning and collaboration! The morning kicked off with several concurrent certificated track sessions! In the afternoon, youth from @culyouth WRTU, @pathways_2progress Pathways 2 Progress, and NOW….the @colscityschools Student Ambassadors met to train and collaborate on future projects! 👀 Here we go! 👏🏿👏 👏🏽 The best is yet to come! That’s a wrap for Revive Five! Today we officially ended P2P with our ceremony and won the competition for the summer. We would like to thank our staff, supervisors, and especially Ms. Tei. This summer was truly an outstanding experience filled with fun and opportunities. Go Revive Five! #revive5ive 💪🏽
