Come have some fun with us 😎

🎪Visiting the circus in ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ was an epic adventure for us all. So much fun! The costumes, the energy, the performances…
We definitely need to do a show set at the circus again am I right!?

❎THURSDAY 14th MAY - JAMES DIXON GIG POSTONED ❎
We've had to make the painful decision to cancel this upcoming event and we want to be open with you about why.
Advance ticket sales didn't reach the level we needed to confidently cover our costs and pay everyone fairly, from the artists, the promoters, the staff and everyone else running the space behind the scenes. That's the reality of running a small, independent venue - we can't gamble on the night when the overheads are already committed.
It stings. This was exactly the kind of event we're proud to champion - diverse, different, the sort of thing that doesn't happen everywhere. And that's what makes this harder.
We really, really need your support. Funding for the arts is pretty much non-existent - so far this year we've only managed to secure one very small grant (which we are still obviously very thankful for, but compared to previous years there's so little support around, and bidding for grants has become near impossible to win it seems).
Buying tickets in advance massively helps us determine whether we can keep putting gigs on and also supports your community, musicians/artists and the local people employed by us.
We'll let you know when this one will be rescheduled 💓
Three amazing gigs for you all this May incoming!
Thursday 14th May, 7pm - intimate sit down gig - James Dixon supported by Kitty Crocker
Saturday 23rd May, 7pm- THE Ros Atkins from the BBC brings his Rave Machine, supported by Average Joe and our local legend Southwest Selecta
Saturday May 30th, 7pm - Blues big guns from John Fairhurst supported by Saint Senara
Please support your local grassroots venue by buying a ticket in advance, it helps us and the artists we support massively 🌞🙏🎵

It's a Beltane Belter this weekend at Maker Heights 🌞
It's Black Prince weekend this bank holiday here on the Rame Peninsula and we're ready to join in the Cornish madness with bells on our feet!
Why not come pitch up with us and the most of the weekend? There's plenty going on up here to keep you celebrating the summer months as they download.
We will be once again hosting the 32nd (Cornwall) Regiment of Foot, who will be training and conducting musket drills on Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday night the unmissable Higher Heights is heralding in the bank holiday in true foot-stomping style at @patchworkstudios .
Then on Monday, you can roll down the hill and join in the @blackprincefestival shenanigans as the procession makes its way across the peninsula.
Tidy. See you there?
