⚠️💧 WATER DAMAGE 💧⚠️
We removed a large section of this water damaged alfresco ceiling. The water damage warped the plasterboard over time and caused severe sagging with a generous build up of mould too.
This process included:
* removing damaged plasterboard
* Installing new plasterboard using ‘aquachek’ board screwed off every 200mm.
* Trimming the entire perimeter and back blocking between each individual rondo
* Taping all joins with ‘Blue FibreFuse Tape’ (much stronger than paper tape).
* Then flushing each join as wide as necessary to blend in with the existing ceiling.
A lot can be achieved in a day!
