What happens if we activate Word Binge effect?
What does Cherry Paste sound like?
What if we turn up the Shame dial to 100%?
I wish I could hear what it would do. Adding names to sounds is my favourite thing. One of my favourite things. Every word is a concept, every word is a sound, every sound has any amount of possible names that can be linked and unlinked to it, scribbling everywhere.

I'v’ been doing poetry workshops in a school recently where I bring the SP404 and a microphone, and the students take it in turns recording in words, phrases, sayings, and sounds. Then I play them back, sometimes I get carried away and I jam out all the different samples "s“ibidi" ”h“-hi-hi-" “g“t a hamster" ”r“tatatat".”One student reeled off all the titles of Elvis songs he could remember.
Anyway. The link between sounds and words for me is everything. It's’a ridiculous idea, that you could name something like a sound. It's’like naming a molecule or a unit of length - in fact all name tags are absurd which is why they must be mined. The name helps the non-verbal sound express itself on another plane. It offers up a possible meaning in one hand, and points at it with the other, going "a“a I dunno lol but yeah, what if...? aha”

Tow gobs and bright heads, angled upwards almost like solar panels catching Rays Traces, or spinning like a copter and speakers. All items sold at previous Toileses.
Fast asleep. There's no time to explain.
Draped, singing, humming, clocking out, hanging, soiling. Properly switched off but still hot in the transformer.
Sold at the last Toiles.
Patchpastures
Since the recent Toiles drop I've been thinking about how I've shown my work since I started, and how my work has evolved. I saw some patches I forgot I'd made on someone's cap and it really sent me!
1-2: initial patch visions from when I was living in N20. All these fabrics were from the scrap bin in Goldsmiths Stitch & Fabric workshop. Spot the shrek patch in 2.
3: jump ahead 2 years and I presented at @fantastictoiles for the first time. Note the printed shouting faces if you can make them out, I miss those ones.
4: I miss the little word patches I did and I'm going to bring them back
5: some crackers in here including the wither boss patch that Olly thingys stylist bought and some lovely early sock manipulations, as well as ink experiments
6: some silly nasty ones here I really flooded my gur here. This is the drop I made the ball bags first time and sold a massive white puffa
7-8: some slippery nonsense here and tangle nation
9: I'm winding to a crisp now not much more the say. The impulse to post the history has been fulfilled.
