Hello friends! I’m reintroducing myself now that this flower dream has become real 💚💚💚💚🌱🌱🌱🌱 and also showing you my very cute new logo! I so love it and it’s all thanks to my beautiful Sammy… so….. * My name is Emily! * I live just out of Nambour with my angel husband Sam and ratty doggo 🫶 we are Nambour super fans & love the community so much * 14 years ago at uni I had a lecturer who was passionate about food sovereignty. This initial spark eventually lead me to pursuing a career in agriculture! ✨ * I have farmed vegetables here in Australia and in the Philippines - so incredibly lucky!!! * A few years ago my friend gifted me dahlia tubers ~ it was during a period of difficult family stuff. Flowers became a place of joy and calm- flowers have healing powers y’all! * Soil is my love language * One time I was on tv and called a compost queen (it was local news but I still felt a life goal was achieved 😂) * My mother is an renowned landscape designer (so proud to say it!) and my grandfather a tomato farmer….. so some may say it’s in my blood ;) * My day job: I work as a sustainability officer at a school ✌️ * The earth is my home & I want to treat it with all the kindness and joy and love that I can. * Happy to chat plants, soil, compost, any day, any time 🦋 Thanks for joining me on this page! This is a little snap shot into my small world, where I’m endeavouring to slow down & also hold joy and fierce strength in my heart for people and the planet. 🤍🕊️ P.s do you love my logo????? 🪲 Photo + logo @samhodgkinsta

We’ve watched for the past twenty months as the war in P a l e s t i n e has continued to rage. As people — people who treasure their crops and work tirelessly to feed their communities — have been bombed, displaced, killed, and starved. Like so many, we’ve felt paralysed by grief at times. But we’ve decided it’s time to act — to channel that heartbreak into something tangible. Together with an incredible community of growers, we’ve created Flower Farmers for P a l e s t i n e — a fundraiser in support of those showing extraordinary strength in the face of unimaginable suffering. A huge range of Australian farmers and growers have already donated tubers, seeds, gift vouchers, garden accessories, and more. The first round of prize packs for our raffle will be announced soon. For now we share this beautiful artwork, created for us by @_sallparadise_ A simple act of solidarity 🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸 All funds raised will go to: @thamra_org And the Almbasher Family GoFundMe 💕💕 link in Merans bio 💕💕💕

Gorgeous buckets of dahlias are done! I will miss them but I do love the rhythm of the seasons & I’m okay to say goodbye till December 💖 The final flowers of Autumn- Chrysanthemums. Small bunches at @tuckshop.noosa only - tomorrow! Absolutely a cute way to celebrate Mother’s Day. Thank you so much to those who have asked about flowers - I’m not doing preorders sorry, there’s not enough! Limited numbers @tuckshop.noosa Friday 9am🌷 Those will be the last flowers available before the soil & I rest ♥️ and start preparations for next summer. I’ll share more on this soon 🫶 I’ll find the words of thanks for this season as I pick the last of the flowers late this afternoon ♥️ 📷 Film pic by devine flower darling @ketakiijewsonbrown

The season is coming to an end! (How many weeks have I been saying that 🤪). I do have some absolutely gorgeous chrysanthemums, and have very limited bunches available this Tuesday & Friday 🥰 These bunches will contain the VERY LAST of the dahlias. 💖🦋🧡🩷

Nature is so beautiful in many forms. Dried dahlia blooms. I think the pink, red and purple dry best. The white, yellow and orange tend to dry brown. I’m going to make something pretty with these 🌸🦋 have you used dried dahlias before?

First time growing chrysanthemums 🤩 This first pic is a mix of the varieties I have so far! What one is your favourite???? I’m a bit of a sucker for those tiny orange pom-poms. I also like the green center pinky one! WBU? A teeny bit of seasonal overlap whilst the final dahlias bloom 😍 It was fun playing with the magic of both dahlias and ‘mums today (seen in the last slide… colour goodness!!!).

Autumn mornings Seed is setting, a hum of dragonflys and bees about, and the warmth of the sun is joyous. Does anyone know an ID for the butterfly in the last slide? 🫶🦋
