Pray that any doubts or fears would be given to God and that they will be a blessing to each other and the community. Pray that every conversation they have will be empowered by the Holy Spirit and Gospel centered. Pray that the hearts of who they encounter will be open to being ministered to and ready to hear how much that are loved by God. Pray that they welcome people with open arms into a loving community of care and support. And, please pray that they honor God with the time and space He has richly blessed them with! First Bethel Football game! Beautiful night and the Royals are winning 30-0 in the first half!

Last night Beau and I took a late walk on campus at Bethel. He doesn’t like posing much but I got a few good shots.

What a privilege it’s been to serve at Ethnos Bible Church these last 4 years! Tomorrow they are sending me off with an ordination service! If you haven’t heard about what‘s been happening with the Carroll Family, I’m transitioning to a new role at Bethel Seminary in Minnesota where I’ll be serving as Program Director for the Doctoral of Ministry (Dmin) Program and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care and Formation. I’ll still be helping Ethnos during the transition, but I’ll be onsite in MN on Monday! We are very excited for how God is at work in both our Ethnos Church Family and at Bethel!

I’m excited to announce that the Carroll’s will transitioning into a new chapter in life starting in August! I’ve accepted the appointment of Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care and Formation at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN. I’m looking forward to continuing the great work of my friend John Anthony Dunne and helping build a program where Personal and Spiritual Formation is ingrained in the relational way we engage ministry! Melodie and I are excited to continue our relationship withEthnos Bible Churchs Bible Church Family through this transion and into the future! It has been a tremendous blessing to be Lead Pastor over these 3 and a half years!! I’m really looking forward to how the Holy Spirit will continue the awesome work we have been privileged to be a part of! The church is in great hands with prayerful leaders like Ryan Lawrence and the Elders! PS.
