We have been in the business of creating beautiful wedding event florals for over a decade and a half 🫶🏽 (hooray for us) BUT I cannot stress enough to couples engaged or just starting out and even in the thick of it...build your relationship with each other as much as you are planning your events. The time spent planning crazy awe struck celebrations are 🙌🏽 but I secretly hope my couples are building foundations for their success as a committed pair. Marriage is haaaard! Walking along side your partner not behind or ahead is a dance in itself. My partner Jesse and I have decided over the many years we have been together (almost 20) that we have to learn how to fight for one another daily not fight each other daily.
My number one advice to couples-
Dive deep in knowing who you are. You.
Not the other one in the relationship.
Just You.
How do you contribute to the awesomeness of creating a meaningful relationship?
How do you react in conflict, how do you do you, how does your weaknesses/trauma play out in your relationship etc... the list can go on. When you know who you are- you get to see how you contribute in a relationship and experience a healthy relationship.
