My very first carnival costume was Donatello, even though I actually wanted to be Raphael, my mother accidentally bought the wrong fabric at the market. Those memories are still incredibly vivid to me and are a big part of why animation means so much to me today.
I absolutely loved TMNT Mutant Mayhem and I decided to put together something. I hope one day Iāll have the chance to work on a Tmnt movie. I started this shot by listening to the the track and everything appeared in my mind. I wanted to do it on the style of the movie. Funny experiment. I had some fun. Mix of Maps from Fab and render in Unreal. Speedlines in Ps.

Celebratory post today! Itās not often you get the chance to work on a film when youāre already a fan of the book. @framestore and @agora.studio_official gave me that opportunity last year, and it was truly magical.
The movie is beautiful and Rocky is spectacular! It was one of the most complex creatures to animate, with those five arms/legs and his four faces. On top of that, we had to convey his massive weight while honoring the directorsā wish to maintain the feel of the practical puppet used on set.
Proud to have been a part of it.

This shot with Muriel the owl comes from Die Schule der magischen tiere 4. I really pushed the shapes of the rig to get those poses and great job from the cfx team on the feathers. Loved the final result, very cartoony and fun.

Scroll was easily the most challenging character Iāve ever animated.
To give you an idea of the technical madness: we had 3 identical rigs in scene. One for the main character and 2 for the scrolls of paper around him. Every control was attached to a locator to have more control during the performance. It was insane but as my Anim Director told me: āyou were born to animate Scrollā šš

Before the era of @claynosaurz , I had the opportunity to animate cartoon dinosaurs for Ninja Express, one of the funniest childrenās series Iāve ever seen. I had so much fun on that project. I remember I was laughing just watching the animatics. During these challenging times, itās important to never forget to smile and stay positive.
