After the release of the 7“ single Sale Sole / Jamba Club earlier this year, we’re happy to present the full album of Viscardi & Il Duo Magnetico, the quirky and irresistible lovechild of Pascal Viscardi, Yavor Lilov and Alain Sandri.
The 8-track album, produced and recorded in Geneva over the past 3 years, is a unique and contemporary version of italian pop, sent on a digital journey through sunny Boogie and Mellow Reggae, Art Pop and Ambient New Age. The songs draw on a vocabulary composed of fragmentary images, unusual verses and original assonances, where maritime themes mix with the gray of the city and the Neapolitan dialect sparsely appears. The journey sounds like dreaming of Campania beaches in the midst of Geneva traffic, or fantasizing about speeding motorboats and Balearic bonfires while listening to Enzo Carella on the sixth floor of a council building. And then dance until the sun rises on the last slow song of the night.

Co-fondateur du label Love Reaction, La Roze fait partie de ces mélomanes obsessionnels toujours à la recherche de nouveaux disques.
A l'affût, il arpente record shops ou marchés aux puces sans relâche à la recherche de rareté vinyles et de groove encore à découvrir, dénichant les tubes oubliés d’hier aptes à devenir les hit dancefloor d’aujourd’hui. DJ aguerri, edit maker, il repousse les définitions de genres et c’est avec grand plaisir qu’il partage ses explorations aussi éclectiques qu’inédites derrières les platines !

Collectionneur, archiviste, party maker, bidouilleur et vocaliste, Pascal c’est surtout le plus suisse des napolitains, le plus genevois des madrilènes et le plus historien des Deejays. À l’image de ce personnage - unique en son genre : tantôt plagiste ou plutôt « bagnino » full-amateur, tantôt designer semi-pro en émotions VHS -, le voyage qu’il nous propose ressemble à une existence parallèle faite de « should have been méga hits » - chantés ou pas - pour plages urbaines. Un multivers nostalgique (vraiment ?) composé d’étoiles manquées qui brillent cependant de mille feux au panthéon des amateurs de rythmes obscurs.
