If you work out, go for a run, dance or do any sport, it calms the mind. The monkey takes a break and you get to relax. We‘ve all experienced it.

On the other hand, if you sit still, the monkey mind takes flight jumping from thought to thought, instead of your body, your mind moves.

It seems like a simple equation. Movement on the outside creates stillness on the inside, while stillness on the outside creates movement on the inside.

A holistic practice touches on both. If the only way you can quiet the mind is through an Ironman, a gym session or a sweaty yoga class…you will be in trouble when your injured, busy with work, kids, family…you name it.

Meditation and Movement are brothers, that complement each other and jump in when one is not available. Better have both in your pocket.

Both can be learned and will never be replaced by AI.
