🙌 PAS Rural Coliving is located in the heart of the Pas Valley, in the small village of Villegar de Toranzo, Cantabria. The name of this coliving space is inspired by the Pas River, which flows through this mountainous region and gives its name to both the area and its inhabitants, the Pasiegos.💚
The seed for PAS first began to grow in a rural cabin north of Bogotá, Colombia🇨🇴, where we organized workshops on life purpose and social entrepreneurship. That experience laid the foundation for what would eventually become PAS Rural Coliving, although we didn’t realize it at the time.
🍀After more than 15 years of traveling through countries like England, the United States, Germany, India, Ghana, Switzerland, and Canada, we returned to Spain🌍🌎🌏 with a dream: to live in community and offer a space where others could do the same. In the Pas Valley, we found a landscape that reminded us of the hills in Colombia where it all began.
PAS Rural Coliving is a project in partnership with Hola Ghana, an NGO founded by Óscar (PAS Co-founder) over 10 years ago. As such, everyone who stays at PAS contributes to the construction of the Asuoya Learning Centre👐, a primary school and social entrepreneurship hub in Koforidua, Ghana.🇬🇭
In 2023, we finally put down roots in Villegar de Toranzo, where we discovered Las Casucas - six wood cabins that allowed us to bring our dream to life and launch PAS Rural Coliving.
Today, PAS is more than just a place to live. It’s a space where collaboration, personal growth, and connection with nature are at the core of everything we do.🏞🇪🇸

Hello! We’re Oscar and Lulú, your hosts at PAS Rural Coliving, with over 10 years of experience in international cooperation and social entrepreneurship.
After 15 years of exploring places like England, the United States, Canada, Germany, India, Ghana, and Colombia, in 2021, we felt it was time to return to Cantabria and settle in the heart of the Pas Valley. We love sharing the unique experience of living here with those who visit us, as well as raising our seven-year-old daughter, Lucía. 🤝💚
Driven by our passion for nature and community building, we co-founded The Social Circle, a platform dedicated to training in social entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as fostering a community of changemakers.
Oscar, an entrepreneur since the age of 21, has spent the last decade focused on social impact projects, while Lulú, with her experience as an agile coach and facilitator, has helped support social enterprises. Together, we host training and incubation sessions for new projects.
Our life here reflects our core values: nature, community, and service. They came to us with no expectations, but something united them: the openness to explore a different way of living. And what happened next, exceeded all their assumptions.

At PAS Rural Coliving, every day is an invitation to reconnect with nature, with others and with oneself. 🌄
The day starts by looking out at the mountains that hug the Pasiegos Valleys, with a walk along the Pas River, working in the vegetable garden, or meditating to connect with yourself and the environment. 🌿🧘♀️
The communal kitchen comes alive as the colivers prepare breakfast. Amidst laughter and conversation, we share fresh fruit, artisanal bread and coffee. ☕🍞 🖥️✨Work takes place in the space that inspires you most: the rural coworking space with mountain views, the open-air gardens or the comfort of your cabin.
Nature becomes your best ally and teacher. It allows you to be 100% present in your tasks and be more productive while remaining calm.
During a break you can feed the rabbits, collect the eggs from the chickens or brainstorm ideas and chat with other colivers over a cup of tea or coffee.
At lunchtime, you can cook as a team and enjoy a delicious meal with products from the garden.
🚴♂️ After, you can explore the surroundings with a hike, a bike ride, or climb up to the Piedrona to lose yourself in the twists and turns of Villegar de Toranzo and the surrounding villages.

In a small Cantabrian village, Villegar de Toranzo, with less than 100 inhabitants, nestled in the heart of the Valles Pasiegos, there’s a place where rural life, community, and nature come together.
🏖️🏞️🌊Here, you won't have to choose between beach, mountains, or river. You have it all in one place. 🚴♂️ You can hike to La Piedrona, bike along the greenway to Ontaneda, swim in the Pas River, or visit the Cantabrian beaches, just 25 minutes away. Or you can take a walk from your cabin to "El Churrón," a trail that leads to a secret waterfall, explore prehistoric caves in Puente Viesgo, or follow mythical routes in our neighboring towns. You can also hop on a bus to Santander (40 minutes away) and explore the city streets while falling in love with its beautiful bay.
In the Pas Valley, you can shop at local stores where you'll find fresh fruits, vegetables from your neighbors’ gardens, and local products from regional entrepreneurs.

All the funds we generate here go towards purpose-driven projects, from our rural entrepreneurship school in the Valles Pasiegos to the construction of the Asuoya Learning Centre in Ghana. We have been working for over a decade with the NGO Hola Ghana, founded by us, our African brother, named Wisdom and his beautiful family Rose and Elis. 🌍📚
This center focuses on providing quality education to the children of Koforidua while promoting social entrepreneurship and self-sustainability in the local community.

Here, in the heart of the Cantabrian valley, we offer you a space where community living blends with the tranquility of nature while creating an environment designed to balance work and well-being.
📍Location: Villegar de Toranzo, Cantabria, Spain
🏡Accommodation: 6 wooden cabins with shared and private rooms. Each cabin has a bathroom with a private shower, a dining area, a sofa, and a small equipped kitchen.
💻 Rural Coworking: A garage converted into an open workspace, private rooms, and outdoor areas.
Internet: 1GB Wi-Fi speed throughout the property.
Facilities: Shared kitchen, living room, outdoor terrace, and garden.
Explore: Hiking trails along the Pas River, cycling on bike paths between valleys, nearby caves, beaches, and charming towns.
Other amenities: Two bicycles available per cabin to explore the area.
💚 Contribute: Our model is based on transparency and the economy of generosity. The minimum contribution per month to help maintain the coliving can be found on our website.
In addition, we invite you to contribute with a "pay it forward," an extra donation to help fund:
