Our film is out today and I promise I will stop posting! I realize it’s a privilege and a gift to be able to make a film at all. It’s also a non-stop slog, a true test of will and determination by all, a daily battle of schedule, budget and weather. Making (and promoting) an independent film is like a horror itself, and not for the faint of heart. I admire all those who attempt it. And yet, all this aside, there was so much laughter and so many beautiful memories made. My heartfelt gratitude to all those who helped, all the literal blood, sweat and tears it took to make @birthritefilm exist. The joy of making things, spending time creating with old and new friends is the dream realized. The journey is what it’s about.
