Shelves of the wunderkammern variety bring disparate objects together. A collection offers momentary continuity. What happens when an action becomes an image? You might get a sawhorse, or you might get Mickey Mouse flying a kite. The leaves are actually made of paper. These shelves mark one year of Sawhorse. They came to us in a dream, came to us by way of friends, confidants, interlocutors. We like beautiful things. We like pictures too. We are tired of theory and talking about books. We like it when objects float above the world, when they pull us into their orbit. We are excited for another year. We couldn’t have done this without you. We love you.
